How to run applications without being installed on pc?

  Are you thinking is it possible to run any applications on pc without being installed it on your hard drive.Yes now it is possible with the help of portable applications.Now a days many sites are providing portable application for free.Are you thinking what is the difference between normal application setup and portable application,the difference is that the portable application can be run on pc without installation but normal application can’t be run like that(i,e) it must be installed on your pc then only you can be able to run.Ok lets see in deeply..

What are portable applications:

portable applications are applications that are fully functional without having to install it on pc.In the word portable itself we can easily understood that we can take it anywhere on pendrive or any mass storage devices .The portable applications does not leave its files or registry settings on computer.

Advantages of using portable applications:

• We don’t need to be install it on pc.
• We can take it anywhere on pendrive or any other mass storage devices.
• It won’t leave any files on systems root folder (i,e) it wont leave any footprints on pc (i,e) the application will remove all registry and temporarry files once the application has exited.

How to get portable applications:

There are only two ways to get portable applications.

1. By downloading from websites.
2. Or creating by yourself.

By downloading from websites:

you can download portable applications from the following websites,

• portablefreeware.com

After downloading the applications from site simply double click on it to run.But if the applications you need is not available there ,then simply search it on google.

Create portable application by  yourself:

You can also create  portable application by yourself by following the below method,

• First install the application .exe on local disk c(Note:you can also install it on any folder as you like).
• After installation go to the installation directory(i,e) on local disk c >program files and copy the whole installation folder and save it on any other drive or pendrive except on local disk c.
• After copying it on any other drive ,now go to control panel and uninstall the program.
• That’s it now you have created your own portable software. To run the application,simply go to the folder you have copied  and double click on the application icon.

Note:
It won’t work on Applications such as adobe photoshop,autocad etc…
